Well done to Tegan Muirhead, who recently received a highly commended award in the ‘Women in a Non-Traditional Role’ category for rural and regional areas, at the 2019 Minister’s Awards for Women in Local Government.

It was fantastic to be there to personally congratulate Tegan - an apprentice mechanic with Wagga Wagga City Council.

What a brilliant role model she is for women, young and old, as she continues to break down barriers and defy age-old gender norms, conquering a traditionally male-dominated industry.
