Voting is your democratic right.

It is the only thing that citizens are required to participate in as their contribution to the freedoms and rights of Australians.

You are required by law to enrol to vote if you are an Australian citizen, aged 18 or over and have lived at your current address for more than one month.

You can enrol to vote or update your details online at the Australian Electoral Commission website.
