Small Business Month: Practical AI Workshop

I am partnering with the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber to bring a free Practical AI Workshop to Wagga this Small Business Month.

This workshop will be presented by local business owner Matt Lucas.

Matt will share his experiences using AI in business, including practical examples and insights into where these tools can support everyday operations.

The session is designed for business owners and professionals who want to better understand the practical applications of AI, whether you are already using AI tools or looking for ways to make them more useful in your business.

FREE CPR and defibrillator awareness sessions now available in Wagga Wagga

FREE monthly Shockingly Simple: CPR and AED awareness sessions are now available to residents in Wagga Wagga, thanks to a new community initiative by the Heart Foundation.

The sessions are part of the Heart Foundation’s Heart of the Nation program and are delivered by local volunteer community trainers. The program is designed to give everyday people the skills and confidence to act if someone nearby experiences a sudden cardiac arrest.

More than 32,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of hospital every year in Australia.

Immediate action—calling Triple Zero (000), starting CPR, and using an AED—can significantly increase the chance of survival.

The free sessions cover how to:

• Recognise the signs of cardiac arrest

• Call 000 and respond quickly

• Perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

• Use an AED (automated external defibrillator)

These sessions are open to everybody and do not require any previous experience or medical knowledge.
