I haven't fired a gun since I was in the cadets many, many years ago, but I was asked to do so at the official launch of the National Skeet Championships.

Around 180 shooters took part in the event, and it was great to see "The City of Good Sports" hosting a unique sporting championship like this.

I would like to acknowledge and praise all officials and participants, not only for their technique, marksmanship and skill, but their wonderful attitude towards safety.
