Last year, I made a commitment to stand alongside the electorate’s Regional Disability Advocacy Service, to make sure vital funding was continued. The NSW Government previously agreed to extend the financial support of advocacy services for a number of years, following the NDIS changeover, but I do not believe there should be a deadline. I will be calling on the State Government to maintain funding for advocacy groups, assisting our electorate’s most vulnerable.
