This morning I met with members of Riverina Water to inspect the new $40 million treatment plant.

Thanks to RW general manager Andrew Crakenthorpe, councillor and Lockhart deputy-mayor Greg Verdon, RW board chair Bede Spannagle and Greg Vidler for taking the time to show me around.

I think the new treatment plant is brilliant! It takes water from the river and uses ultra modern technology to create the safest drinking water in Wagga. It meets modern standards and the infrastructure will allow for the city to grow, which is in line with a projected plan to boost the population to 100,000 in 20 years.
