It was a pleasure to meet members of the Bidgee Dragons, including president, Ann Buik at the opening of the club’s long-awaited shed.

The sporting club has come a long way from when it launched in 2006, with no boats or paddles.

Now it can boast having participated in local, national and international events.

The Bidgee Dragons have even organised five successful community regattas on Lake Albert.

State Funding proceeds of $15,000 went towards the building.
