School security and safety were two main issues that came up when I spoke with South Wagga Public School principal Tanya Wyatt and P&C reps Andrew Smith, Kate Hardy and Nathan Irvine today.

I toured the grounds and was able to see the challenges first-hand; specifically, those around the perimeter fencing, and the drop off and pick up of children.

I believe there may be an opportunity to improve the current situation, with the changes proposed to the rail bridge (part of the inland rail development).

I will keep focused on this and will follow up with the school.
