I was pleased to meet with St Vincent de Paul Central Council president Jenni Duff and executive officer Mike Riley, as well as staff and volunteers of the Vinnies shop today.

I was able to discuss a range of issues facing many residents across the electorate and I received a copy of the St Vincent de Paul 2019 Election Statement.

This calls on the next elected government to mandate affordable housing requirements, build new social housing units, end unfair evictions, improve the energy efficiency of rented homes, fix energy concessions, improve access to housing and homelessness services, and reduce rough sleeping.
