Annual ride puts mental health out in the open

I was lucky enough see the Black Dog Ride kick off in Wagga Wagga this morning, with 200 riders turning wheels and heads to raise awareness of depression and suicide.

Suicide rates are very high in rural and regional areas and among young men in particular.

By putting it out in the open, the annual ride aims to combat this issue, raising awareness and creating a safe space for people to talk and ask for help.

Well done to all involved!

Fantastic work!
