I was delighted and proud to welcome a fresh new crime-prevention initiative to our electorate today.

'Youth on Track' is helping to steer youth away from a life of crime, through a multi-service and early intervention approach.

The program was initiated in 2013, and last year the State Government pledged $1 million to bring to scheme to the Riverina Police District; set to be overseen by Mission Australia.

I look forward to meeting Mission Australia’s Youth on Track manager next week, to learn how the program will significantly reduce long-term re-offending rates across Wagga Wagga.
