Congratulations to all the winners from Friday evening's 2019 NSW Training Awards - Riverina Region.

It was a wonderful acknowledgement of the hard work of our vocational education students across the Riverina-Murray region.

In particular, I would like to mention and congratulate Patricia Espie-Whitburn, who not only won Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year, but gave an incredibly inspiring speech on the night.

Well done also to the finalists in the Apprentice of the Year Award Lachlan Kitto and Tara Martin, as well as Evan Gargaro who took home the big award.
