It was wonderful to be part of the Filipino Community Association of Wagga Wagga’s recent celebration of Philippines Independence Day.

The day commemorates those past and present who have fought to protect and ensure freedom in the Phillipines, and what a fantastic day of song, dance, delicious food and celebration it was! 

It fills me with pride to see our multicultural city thriving off the back of events such as this.
