Wagga’s own Jo Palmer was named NSW-ACT Agrifutures Rural Woman of the Year for 2019.

I was lucky enough to be there in Sydney for the presentation of the award, and it was wonderful to see the fantastic work of local women being recognised across the state.

It is such a well-earned accolade for Jo - and a huge congratulations is in order. How lovely it was too to meet Jo’s parents, Margo & Ross Flynn, at the event.
