It was a pleasure to be at the (socially distanced) launch of the Arbour Festival in Batlow yesterday.

The festival will begin on December 28 - the anniversary of the start of the Dunns Rd bushfire - running for 50 days.

Visitors to the festival will be able to experience art installations of different media, amongst the soaring trees that survived the devastating blaze.

Congratulations to Eastern Riverina Arts and festival curator Vanessa Keenan on the launch.
