I am pleased to see that, in response to pressure from myself, TransGrid have begun local, face-to-face consultation.

Late last week I attended a meeting with senior TransGrid and landowner representatives. The meeting was a long but positive one, and I believe all who attended agreed that it was a good start.

There is a lot of work ahead, but the indications are that TransGrid seem receptive and prepared to work with us.
