I was at the Red Steer Hotel this morning for the start of the Bradley Nixon motorbike ride for CanAssist; raising money that stays local for cancer support.

President of the local Can Assist branch, John Nixon, is pictured with me here. Following his youngest son Bradley’s cancer diagnosis in 2017, and discovering there was no Can Assist Branch in Wagga, John started the local branch to help local families dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

Sadly, Bradley lost his fight just before the branch’s inaugural Dice Run. The branch remains committed to assisting the local community and supporting their needs.
