This morning we had the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads visit Wagga Wagga, to make several announcements, including the draft Wagga Wagga Transport Plan, an extension of the Bomen Bus Trial, and a new statewide-first trial which will see bike racks fitted to buses in Wagga Wagga.
During the Minister’s visit I emphasised the importance of the community looking at the draft future plan, and providing their valuable feedback.
We want our community to grow in a safe and sustainable way. Having the best possible plan in place is critical to making this happen.
This is the community’s chance to review its key initiatives online and rate what they see as most important - from cycleways to heavy vehicle alternative routes to improving safety and technology for all transport users.
