HMAS WAGGA WREATH MEMORIAL SERVICE

This morning I laid a wreath on the Ship’s Plaque and Corvette Anchor Memorial in the Victory Memorial Gardens in Wagga Wagga.

The wreath laying was part of a memorial service dedicated to departed shipmates, organised by the HMAS Wagga Association.

HMAS Wagga was commissioned in 1942, decommissioned when the war finished in 1945. It returned to service five years later as a training vessel, before being retired in 1960.
