The Murrumbidgee LHD now has public vaccination clinics across the region for all eligible people, including people in the 40-49 age groups.

In March this year, MLHD began vaccinating staff and other health care workers as part of the Priority 1A and Priority 1B vaccination rollout.

MLHD recently extended offering vaccinations to GPs, household members of health care workers and other front line workers, including aged care and disability workers, police, fire and rescue, SES workers and some eligible frontline council workers.

Pfizer is the preferred COVID-19 Vaccination for adults under the age of 50 years and over the age of 50, AstraZeneca is the preferred vaccine. Both Pfizer and AstraZeneca Vaccines are delivered at the MLHD Clinics in a carefully orchestrated manner.
