Members of the taxi industry have rallied in Martin Place, outside Parliament House this morning, to protest against proposed government reforms to the industry.
I joined my independent colleagues, Member for Sydney, Alex Greenwich, Member for Lake Macquarie, and Member for Murray, Helen Dalton, in addressing the rally.

We Independents are committed to not backing the legislation until there is a better compensation deal for licence owners.

We have been pushing the government on this issue, and I believe they are starting to listen.
