Over the weekend Minister for Transport and Veterans, David Elliott, visited Wagga Wagga.

The Minister and I dropped in to the Riverina Veteran Wellbeing Centre, so the Minister could see what is being done, as well as what is being planned to assist veterans locally.

The centre isn’t due to have its official opening until 23 March, however, myself and the minister will be in parliament, so we took the opportunity to have an early briefing.

We also visited the Pro Patria Centre to meet members of the Pro Patria Trust and Committee.

It was great that the Minister took time out to visit the centre and hear of the great progress being made by the dedicated work of the volunteers.
