I am greatly honoured that Owen Lyons remarkable painting of the Wagga Wagga Electorate, that I commissioned for the Electorate Office, was chosen as the theme for the Charles Sturt University Gala dinner.

A copy of this painting was also presented to Professor Jim Pratley, to honour his 50 years of service to CSU.

It is an absolutely marvellous painting and a triumph for Owen and, judging by the audience reaction, everyone agreed!

It was a great way to honour Professor Pratley, who has done so much for our community and for agriculture in Australia.
