It was an honour to assist in presenting more than 150 members of the Rural Fire Service's NSW Riverina Zone, with a National Emergency Medal, for their service during the 2019/2020 bushfire crisis.

It was a moving tribute that acknowledged our local heroes, and it was a pleasure to present the medals alongside Michael McCormack MP, Steph Cooke MP and City of Wagga Wagga Councillor Amelia Parkins.
