Wonderful to be at Tarcutta Public School today for the unveiling of the 150 year plaque, and to celebrate the rich history of a fantastic local school.

It was an absolutely wonderful celebration, in the glorious sunshine, with people who had travelled Queensland, Victoria and throughout New South Wales to celebrate the 150 years.

That sense of positivity in community is a sure sign that you’ve got a successful school!

A big thank you to current staff Sue Belling, Veronica Hamilton, Mario Cesnik, Jasmine Allan and Cathy Nugent, and also to the organising committee.

I’d like to acknowledge others who were there for the celebration including Wagga Wagga Mayor, Councillor Dallas Tout, Director of Educational Leadership, Russell Graham, the substantive Principal of Tarcutta Public, Kirrilee Post, who is currently at the Turvey Park Public School.
