WOLLUNDRY DREAMING OPENING

I was very pleased to have attended the opening of Wollundry Dreaming today.

Wollundry Dreaming is a community space for First Nations residents and puts Wiradjuri arts and culture in the heart of our city.

The space is also a hub for connecting Wiraduri youth with their cultural practices and a means by which to regrow their cultural identity.

I would like to thank Leanne Sanders, Aunty Cheryl Penrith, Aunty Mary Atkinson, Uncle James Ingram, Vickie Birkinshaw and Shanae Pope for their leadership in this area.
