It was wonderful to attend the South Wagga Lyons 53rd annual changeover dinner and installation on Saturday evening.

I’d like to extend a big congratulations to Bob Smith, the new president, and all of the new executive, and thank outgoing President, Michelle Henderson, who has just finished her term.

Congratulations to Noelene Burns-Gee, who received the Neville Tucker Award, Michael Grellalis, who received the J. D. Richardson Award, and Chris Leonard, who received the Melvin Jones Progressive award.

Lyons clubs do a fantastic job strengthening community and assisting with fundraising locally, and it was a privilege to be part of their event this past weekend.
