I had the pleasure of being at the Lions Club of Tumut 52nd annual changeover lunch and installation, held on Saturday at Club Tumut.

Congratulations to the new president, Bruce Brien. I’d also like to congratulate members of the new board, including Anne Brien, Noel Armour, May Doon, Susan Franckiewicz, Albert Manning, Carol Manning, Susan Ready, Clayton Searl, and Gilda Torino, who were present on the day.

Noel Armour was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellowship, and Emma Peacock received the Lions Citizen of the Year Award, while Anne Brien was awarded Lions Club Member of the Year.

Congratulations to all, and a big thank you to the Lion Club for all they do for the community.
