Yesterday I walked through the deeply moving Burning Generation exhibition, at the Tumut Visitors Centre.
The exhibition features the work of young people affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires in Batlow, who participated in a series of workshops with local artists to build up there skills before presenting these final works.
The project was coordinated through Charles Sturt University, and a big shout out in particular goes to Dr Rachael Fox and Dr Andrew McGrath, and Claire Harris of Create Hub Riverina, who collaborated with students to bring the exhibition to life.
If you have the opportunity to view these works I strongly encourage you to do so.
