Last week I had the pleasure of visiting Hooves of Empowerment, located at Tootool and run by Melissa Brownlee.
The facility uses equine therapy, along with experiences with animals and outdoor activities in a farm style landscape, to empower young and older people alike.
There are a range of programs available including school visits, school holiday programs and child activities.
I have to say this is a wonderful facility, and it was fantastic to meet with Melissa and experience what she has developed.
