Earlier this week, I had the privilege of joining other members of the Joint Select Committee on Arts and Music Education and Training for a special site visit to TAFE NSW Eora Campus and, the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music.

Together with Ms Julia Finn MP (Chair), Mr Anthony D'Adam, and Ms Jacqui Munro, we had the opportunity to learn about the programs offered, including their inspiring InSchool program. We toured the facilities, met with teachers, and watched students shine during their lessons.

A personal highlight was joining in on percussion for one of their songs!

This committee, established earlier this year, is working to ensure a strong future for arts and music education in NSW.
