It was a pleasure to meet some of our dedicated SES volunteers and staff at a recognition event in Sydney this morning.

Hosted by Emergency Services Minister, Jihad Dib, it was a great opportunity to ‘wear a hint of orange’ to say thank you to all of those volunteers who do so much to protect our community in times of trouble.

Special congratulations to Damien Johnston for his appointment as the service’s Acting Commission.

So, thank you and well done to all. Your efforts are appreciated by us all.
