It was a pleasure to be at the Something for Everyone event this week, held as part of Volunteers Week.

I very much enjoyed hearing the panel discussion on the benefits of volunteering, moderated by Jean Kittson AM, Lynne Strong, Vivienne Marris, Gemma Rygate and Jodie Harrison.

During the event, 91 women from regional and rural NSW were honoured for their volunteer work, recognised and added to the Hidden Treasures Honour Roll.

Once again, I’d like to thank all of the local volunteers who contribute so much, and give so selflessly, to our communities.
