This morning I attended the unveiling of the plaque for Wagga Wagga’s 2024 Walk of Honour recipient, the late Peter Cox.

Peter Cox was a much-loved teacher and highly renowned member of the performing arts community in Wagga Wagga. Peter was the drama teacher at Kooringal High School for many years, where the schools performing arts centre is named after him.

He was highly regarded within Kooringal High for including students and teachers from all departments for each school production and helping the school become known for its performing arts department and facilities.

His immense contributions to the performing arts community were acknowledged and remembered today, as his family, including wife Wendy and children, were on hand to unveil the plaque.
