It was a pleasure to attend the Spirit of the Land Festival on Friday night and present awards at this year’s art show opening. Congratulations to David Fenwick, winner of Best Small Sculpture, and Jobe Cunningham, who took out the Youth Artist Under 12 award — both incredible talents!

As always, the creativity and craftsmanship on display were outstanding. Events like this remind us how much heart and inspiration our regional communities bring to the arts.

A huge thank you to Maria Urquhart, the volunteers, sponsors, and Lockhart Shire Council for bringing this year’s festival to life — a true celebration of country spirit.
