I was pleased to join the NSW Parliamentary Lions Club for a special lunch to welcome the International President of Lions, A.P. Singh, and his partner in service, Sangeeta Jatia.

The Premier reflected on the important role Lions clubs play in building community harmony, while President Singh spoke of the “language of the heart” that unites more than 50,000 clubs across 185 countries.

A big thank you to President of the Legislative Council, Ben Franklin, for hosting the function in the President’s Dining Room. I also want to acknowledge District Governor Mohan Nanayakkara and his wife Mahishi for their contribution to this occasion.
