It was inspiring to meet exercise physiologists, exercise scientists and sports scientists during their policy and advocacy meeting at parliament last week.
Some 3,500 of these dedicated allied health professionals practice in NSW, healing and helping us to be fit and healthy.
Like all in our health workforce, they play an important role in our wellbeing and it was great to hear some of their thoughts on how they contribute to the sector and the ways in which they can better serve rural and regional people.
Thanks to Scott MacDonald from Exercise and Sports Science Australia for arranging the meeting.
