It was a pleasure to present the Rotary Club of Batlow with a Community Service Award on Sunday.

For four years the Rotary Club of Batlow took over the cleaning of a block of local public toilets to ensure they remained open.

Clean public toilets are an important public asset, which are often unnoticed and taken for granted. I thank the Rotary Club of Batlow for this important work, which ensured the community and visitors continued to have access to clean public toilets.
