It was a pleasure to attend the official opening of new amenities at Harris Park. 

I was proud to have helped deliver these amazing improvements, which include new male and female changerooms, an upgraded canteen, a modern meeting space and new bathrooms. 

Harris Park is a key venue for rugby league in Wagga, but it’s also used for cricket and by the broader community – which makes the new facilities especially valuable. 

Importantly, the upgrades will boost the number of women and girls participating in sport, with the amenities already in use by multiple grades, including women’s league tag, women’s tackle and first grade. 

Once again, we’ve showed why we are indeed the “City of Good Sports”. Congratulations to the NSW Government, Wagga City Council and Wagga Rugby League for delivering these game-changing amenities
