DRIVER TESTING RESTRICTIONS LIFTED FROM 1 JULY
Good news for learner drivers ready to progress or get their licence, with driver testing up and running again from July 1.
With driver testing closed for three months, planning is underway to clear the backlog of young drivers hoping to get their licence, by increasing capacity from 4800 to approximately 6500 tests per week.
Appropriate safeguards will remain in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19, including disposable seat covers, hand sanitiser and gloves.
Drivers and riders who want to progress from P1 to P2 and then on to an unrestricted licence can now do so online.
All customers can now be book a driver test online, via phone or in a Service NSW Centre. For more information on driver testing please visit www.service.nsw.gov.au
