NSW TO BENEFIT FROM EVENT MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM

Future tourism industry leaders living in regional areas across the State can now apply for one of 12 event management scholarships, thanks to the NSW Government’s partnership with Meetings and Events Australia announced earlier this week.

Valued at $7500, the scholarships will aim to boost regional economies by upskilling those who are working in events, and are a wonderful opportunity for those up and coming in the industry.

The tourism industry statewide has taken a huge hit since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, but having creative, highly-skilled minds stepping up to the plate will play a huge role in rejuvenating the tourism sector; especially in regional NSW.

The Diploma of Event Management, has been designed specifically to accommodate study by distance learning, for people already working in the events industry in regional NSW.
