FOUR NEW COVID-19 CASES IN WAGGA WAGGA

Four new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) over the weekend, taking the total number of reported positive cases in the region to 54.

Located in Wagga Wagga City Local Government Area the four cases are from one household, including two women, a man and a child.

The family has recently returned from Victoria and has been in self-solation. The MLHD Public Health Unit has completed contact tracing.

This is a timely reminder that we must remain vigilant and do what we can to stop the spread of this virus, including:

  •  washing hands,

  • staying home where possible,

  • physically distancing (1.5m),

  • wearing masks where you cannot distance yourself,

  • getting tested if you experience symptoms - no matter how mild.
