The electorate of Wagga Wagga has secured $400,000 in funding for a total of 15 projects through the NSW Government’s 2021 Community Building Partnership Program.
Member for Wagga Wagga, Dr Joe McGirr, said the State Government funds will deliver much-needed improvements to local facilities including a playground for Estella Public School, and developing a 21st Century Radio Station for Wagga Wagga Community Media Inc.
“This is fantastic news for Wagga Wagga.
“This grassroots funding will directly help create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social and recreational outcomes,” Dr McGirr said.
“I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”
