FUNDING ANNOUNCED - 2022 COMMUNITY BUILDING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
Independent Member for Wagga Wagga, Dr Joe McGirr, today announced $400,000 in funding for the Wagga Wagga electorate for a total of 21 projects.
From the $24,822 the Batlow CWA received for a roof restoration to the $32,000 allocated to Carevan Wagga for the installation of solar panels and the $9669 given to the Collingullie Glenfield Park Football Netball Club for upgrades at Crossroads Oval, a broad range of community groups have been successful in their applications to the 2022 Community Building Partnership Program.
“This is fantastic news for some of our wonderful community organisations,” Dr McGirr said.
“When I look at the list of organisations that have been successful in their grant applications, I am struck not only by the wide variety of organisations that we have working in our community, but also the number of amazing projects that will be going ahead.
“I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a difference for community groups in the area.”
