YERONG CREEK 'VICTORY IN THE PACIFIC' COMMEMORATIONS

I was honoured to attend Yerong Creek’s Victory in the Pacific commemorations, where plaques were unveiled in Stanley Galvin Park to honour six brave local men who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War II.

It was an honour to attend the ceremony to remember Wilfred Thomas Newel, Robert Le Gay Brereton, Robert Findlay Garlick, Robert James Johnstone, Eric Donald Tasker and Alexander Douglas Finlayson DFM.
