FUTURE OF SNOWY VALLEYS RESILIENCE HUB

Snowy Valleys residents are invited to provide their feedback and shape plans for the Snowy Valleys Resilience Hub Project.

The Batlow United Community Chamber (BUCC) will meet on Sunday 7 May 2023 and the second part of the meeting from 12pm will be dedicated to a workshop to view the draft plans for the Resilience Hub and to discuss how the project can continue to best serve the broader community into the future.

Professor Barbara Pamphilon, Associate Director, Centre for Sustainable Communities at University of Canberra, will lead the workshop to collect feedback on the future operations of the Snowy Valleys Resilience Hub.

The Snowy Valleys Resilience Hub Project was established with funding from Resilience NSW following the 2020 Dunns Road Bushfire. The hub has been designed to support individuals and communities, and leverage local skills and knowledge, to work towards improved economic, social and health outcomes.

BUCC was formed in June 2021 and provides community groups and individuals with the opportunity to share updates and work towards a shared vision for Batlow. BUCC is open to all community members.

The next BUCC meeting will be on Sunday 7 May 2023, from 11am to 1pm, with a light lunch and discussions to follow. The meeting will be chaired by Do It For Batlow. For further details and to register to attend visit https://bucc-may2023.eventbrite.com.au
