What a great country we share and what a great community we live in.

On Friday night, I had the honour of naming Alan Lean Wagga’s Citizen of the Year for 2019.

It was a pleasure to meet with so many inspiring men and women across our electorate, including Hugh Packard, who was named Citizen of the Year at Saturday’s awards ceremony in Tumut.

Also a big thank you to Adelong for their warm welcome and lunch courtesy of the S&C volunteers. And thank you to Talbingo for a marvelous barbecue at the end of the day.

Congratulations to all our award recipients across the region.

You embody the true meaning of service and for this reason I am extremely proud.
