It was a pleasure to be part of Micah Hub's official opening today.

Following months of renovations, the Gurwood Street building has been operational since the middle of November.

However, the official opening today provided supporters, guests and dignitaries with a first-hand walk-through of Vinnies’ fresh facility.

Thanks to its partnership with Edel Quinn Shelter, Micah Hub - formerly Micah House - now boasts a number of services under one roof, supporting residents in need across the city.

The quality of a society is always measured by how it takes care of and looks after its most vulnerable.

Wagga Vinnies are doing a great job in that respect and I congratulate them on the fantastic facility upgrade.
