Last week, the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital was given the green light to welcome back volunteers; who had been unable to visit for 11 months due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The family room is located within the paediatrics ward at WWBH, and provides a peaceful space for families of young patients to spend time together.

I'm very happy to see this space active once again, and had the opportunity to hear how important the family room is to families during tough times from Ronald McDonald House Wagga Wagga's Lisa Simpson, Anthony Chan and Jenny Fyfe (pictured).
