Over the weekend I had the privilege of opening the celebrations for the centenary of the Wagga Wagga to Tumbarumba railway, hosted by the Ladysmith Tourist Railway.

There was a fantastic turnout of locals and railway enthusiasts, and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the day together.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to present displays; what an excellent tribute to the past and a great reminder of the good intentions of our forebears.
